9 DPO.....I need some encouragement!

Hey ladies...

So I'm having this not-quite-a-surprise birthday dinner tonight and wanted to see if I'd be able to have a drink, so I did a test. I'm 9 DPO and I tested with FRER using FMU....definitely a BFN. I know its early but I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. If I'm pregnant, shouldn't I have seen at least SOMETHING?? I know that the percentage of BFPs get higher and higher the more DPO you are and blah blah blah but I still feel like if I was, I'd have seen a little hint of a something. There was definitely nothing there. Sigh.

Oh, and since I know it's still early and there might still be a chance, I feel like I shouldn't have a drink ANYWAY. So basically all I did was frustrate myself.

Cycle 1 - BFN. Diagnosed with PCOS.
Day 3 Blood Work - Appears to be normal, with slightly high prolactin. Must re-do next cycle.
Cycle 2 - DH's s/a came back normal. BFN - AF arrived early.
Cycle 3 - Day 3 Blood Work re-do is normal. Could not do HSG...long story. Have an appt. with the local fertility genius in mid-May. O'ed early, no chance for a BFP this cycle, which was my first 28 day cycle in YEARS!!! woo hoo
Cycle 4 - Day 3 b/w is normal yet again. Back to my usual CD 19/20/21 O day. Using CBEFM and OPKs, not temping.

I started testing at 8 dpo and didn't even get a HINT of a positive until today (13 dpo) using ebay strips.
When I didn't get a bfp yesterday morning I figured I was out and had a little drink last night (wasn't drunk or even tipsy so I'm not worried)

Anyway, happy b-day and good luck!! I hope you get your BFP!!

It was a few things. Normally my bbs start hurting the day after O, but they didn't this time around. My CP usually went to LFC after O, but this time it stayed HSC. And my

Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement. I did another test today, and nothing. I'm starting to feel some dull cramps....I think another cycle is coming to an end.

Thanks ladies! You all make this process a lot easier for me, you really do!

Yeah, I thought I'd see something also....even if it was really really really faint. I tested again today with a dollar store test and NADA!!!

I don't think that's true. Most implantation happens between 8 and 10 days, so some women haven't even implated at 9dpo. I didn't get a bfp with dd until a week after af was due.
