I have a question for you. You replied to my post about EWCM and I took a look at your chart link. My question is, under stats why does FF have you as Ovulating for 16 days? Are you taking Meds? Sorry if I'm being too forward, the reason I ask is dr is going to put me on Clomid next month and I didn't know if it actually makes you fertile longer. Thanks

Hi Julie,

Wow, I had to really think about that one for a minute! I was sitting here staring at my chart, thinking "ovulating for 16 days"?? I think I understand your question now, though. Are you asking why FF gives me the little pink "estimated O" boxes on my chart from CD12-CD28 on all my charts? If so, that's because my cycles for the past 4 months have been very irregular (ranging from 23-43 days) so FF doesn't really know when to estimate my "O".

I had removed my longest cycle from my homepage because I just didn't like looking at it anymore, but I just added it back in so you can see it, and that may help explain things a little better. I think that's the cycle that really screwed things up for me! Basically, in the last 4 months (since I've been charting) I've "O"ed anywhere from CD11 to CD28, so when FF tries to estimate my "O," it has a hard time and has to give me a really long window of possibility.

I'm not on any meds (although if it would make me more "normal," I might consider it! LOL!), my body has just not decided on a regular cycle length after BCPs, I guess. I've been off for 7 months now, so I wish it would hurry up already, though! ;) Did that answer your question? Hope so!

Now I have one for you--how did you come up with your screen name? I understand the "jewel" part if your name is Julie, but where did you get "abby" from? Just curious! :)

Thank you, yes you answered my question. LOL! I was thinking if there was a drug out there that would make me fertile for 16 days, then I could definately get pg!!

As for your question...

I have 2 Miniature Pinschers, one is 8 and the other is 10 yrs old. They were my babies before I had my son (still are actually). I have always used one of their names in my user id and the other as my password. So the 8 yr old's name is abby. My first and last name are so common that they are always taken when I register for something, and Julie seems to be very common too (I think there are 4 or 5 of them just on this board alone). I'm not very creative, I look at some of the user ids on this board and think oh wow that's cute..I would have never thought of that!

I KNEW IT!! I knew you were going to say it was your dog or cat's name--do you know how many times I've heard that in my life?! LOL! :) Everyone's always like, "Oh, my dog's name is Abby!" Great, thanks...I have a dog's name! JUST KIDDING!! I love my name, so I wouldn't trade it for the world. You picked a good name for your "baby"!! LOL! ;)

Abby

P.S. Glad I answered your question. No, I'm definitely NOT fertile for 16 days--wouldn't that be nice, though!! LOL! Then, we wouldn't need this board because we'd all be PG in a month! ;)
