I am ttc#3, C4, 10dpo. I have read a little about using OPKs as HPTs and decided to try it. Last night i took a HPT and got a BFN. afterwards i used a OPK with the same sample of urine and got a faint line (about 50% of the control line). This morning i used another OPK with FMU and got a noticeably darker test line than the one from last night. I was still not quite as dark as the control line but about 85% as dark.

Does this difference mean i could be pregnant? I thought i read that if the line gets darker than it was the previous day you are most likely pregnant. Does anyone have experience with this or know anything that could help.

It could mean that or it could mean you're having an LH surge later than you would have thought. You really won't know for sure until you get the BFP. Good luck!

I attempted to do the same and got both dark and faint lines and turned out not to be pg. I hear it does work for some, but just be aware, that you can get a dark test line and still not be pg.
