AF due in one wk no sign of pg

AF is due in one week and I don't think I'm PG. I haven't had any clues as to that being the case. Could I be PG and not experience any nausea or any other signs? Any input would be welcomed. PS this is first month of TTC and understand that it would be a virtual miracle if it did happen on the first try, but one can always hope:)

We don't give up until AF arrives! Yes, you could be pg and not have symptoms yet. And it would be a miracle if you conceived this month! Keep the faith until AF knocks down the door!

you are reading too much into what I generally refer to as "worthless signs" of pregnancy.

Not every woman has sickness and even those that do don't generally feel anything until they are about 5-7 weeks along. Your period isn't even due yet. I wouldn't expect any symptoms to be occuring.

Hang in there. I think the majority of women don't have any "signs" until they've at least missed their period. I know with my first child I totally didn't think I was PG. I was four days late and finally tested. I was shocked to find out I was pg. So hang in there. Don't look for signs (easier said than done, LOL!). As for getting PG on your first cycle of trying.....I have a son sleeping upstairs in his crib that is proof that CAN happen ; ) Best wishes to you!

If AF is still a week away, the embryo probably wouldn't even have implanted yet. That can happen as late as 12 dpo, or approximately 2 days or so before AF is due. It isn't until implantation that your body starts making pregnancy hormones, so it's literally impossible to have any symptoms until that happens. And as far as something like nausea goes, I wouldn't expect that until AF is already late. The month I got pg, I had absolutely no symptoms until well after AF was already missed. I was about 7 weeks pg by the time nausea kicked in. I know the waiting game is hard, but you're really just at that point in your cycle where it's impossible to guess one way or the other.

Good luck!

I am in the exact same boat. AF is due on tax day, and if I had to say right now, it would be a definite BFN. But yes, we can always hope. Although, this is my 9th cycle and I feel like I am losing hope. Anyway, you are early in the game (if we can call it that) so Good Luck!--Ericka

My AF is also scheduled to arrive on tax day! I haven't really felt anything either and I just keep reminding myself that if I am pg, implantation would just start happening today or later this week. I really hate the waiting but that's how nature works!! Good luck!! :-)
