I am sorry I don't have an answer for you but I wanted to let you know I am in the same boat. I have a normal 26 day cycle and this is day 33 for me as well. Also a BFN this am.
Have you ever had a longer cycle that you know of? Are you dealing with any stress right now?

Michelle

If you aren't sure about when you ovulated it could just be too soon for you to get a BFP. I would definitely wait a couple (or more if you can hold out) of

I am sorry about everyone;s late AF/no BFN this is so frustrating. but there are these optons i think -

1 - you Oed late, so technically AF is not late, it is alwasys approx the same number of days after O that you AF. so at some point, you will wither get AF or a BFP, you just have to wait an unknown number of days!!

2 - the dreaded anovulatroy cycle, and you maybe didnt O. i HOPE NOT!! but again, you just have to wait for AF to come.

3 - i forget what my #3 was, LOL sorry!! unless you are certain of when you Ovulated (through temping) there is not a lot you can do but wait blindly.

oh i remember what i was going to say - maybe you are having some uterine issue and if you are not pregnant, you need to see an OBGYN about getting your period started. but i think that you would know you have that sort of problem from past experience.

i once had a small stress (family visitor) and i was surprised that AF was 2 weeks late from that!! wow, stress really does affect your cycles!

GL!!

So AF can be late if you ovulated late? I am sure I O'd a week late which would put AF due today. Man I wish I would of know that before I took those 4 hpt's.

Thanks

Yes, in a nutshell, the cycle is split into 2 phases- the folicular phase (FP and the luteal phase (LP) and ovulation is the day that seaparates them. the FP can be ANY length. but the LP is usually the same amount of days, give or take.

so you could have a 30 day cycle, ovulate on day 15, and have a 15 day LP, af on day 30. but you could have a 60 day cycle one motnh, because you didn't ovulate until day 45, (becuase of stress, illness, whatever) but then, your LP is still 15 days, so you have AF on day 60. this is how you can know when to expect AF (or lack of, and need to take a HPT) if you chart.

everyone's LP is different, but about the same from month to month for each woman.. mine is 12 right now. make sense?
GL!!!!
