AF but temps above coverline?

This has never happened to me before, so I am just wondering how common it is? I will ask this in Hosting AF section, too, but thought maybe some of you who are charting might be able to answer this, too. My AF is quite heavy (not abnormally so, just like a normal period for me), so I do not believe I am pg. I just wonder why my temps would stay up? Any responses would be appreciated.

I've read in TCOYF that this is normal during AF. Some of my AF temps are usually high, but since it's a new cycle, they're technically not above cover.

Yeah, I've read that, too, but what baffles me is why they never went below cover before AF and have stayed up? I know AF temps are wacky, but usually I drop below coverline the day AF shows. Thanks!

Sometimes we have residual progesterone that stays in our system for the first few days of AF, so it may take some time to get the temp drop - it's perfectly normal. My current cycle, my temps didn't drop to my usual pre-O temps until about CD4.
