Am I the ONLY one?!?!

I keep reading how husbands love the BD fests, or how someone was really "in the mood" after getting off the pill and that her husband loved it, etc. etc. Am I the only one who wants sex more than her husband?!? I'm almost embarassed to admit it, like I'm unattractive or undesirable or something. Granted, right now he's in refit (insanely busy time in a submariner's schedule) so he works crazy hours, has to sleep on the boat every few days and stuff like that. BUT we've been BDing more now that we're TTC than we were when he wasn't on this crazy schedule. He's YOUNG (24) so shouldn't he always want it?! It's weird when HE'S not in the mood but I always am. I never turn him down (even if I don't really feel like it) so it kinda hurts when he turns me down. Anyway, this is getting more embarassing! LOL.

I was just wondering if anyone else's husband were like that. I want it MORE, even after we conceive! lol

You are SO not alone.

My husband and I both work full-time, but we plan for me to be a stay at home wife next year, regardless of whether we have a child or not.

In ten years of marriage we both happily settled into the routine of "sex on the weekends". Now that we are TTC, I'm having problems motivating him to fulfill his part of the job!

I often get the "I'm tired. Can't we do this tomorrow?" even when I seduce him. I asked him about it, and he said he's been "trained" to only want it on the weekends . . .

Frustrated, I asked the women on TTC Your First Child board what to do and was advised to try the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor. So, I plunked down the vast sum of money and it arrives this Friday. I'm just tired of fussing with him about it, and he agreed that when the test says "go" we go.

Wish me luck and I'll wish the same back at you. The rascals!

Gurl, You are SO not alone! I think it is really common these days with the amount of stress and havoc going on in our lives and in the world. My DH has many nights where he is too tired or not in the mood...he is 32 and I am 28. Hang in there :) He even accused me of being obsessed with trying to get PG because I wanted to BD so often! Well...I guess I am a little obsessed LOL!

Can you tell you are so not alone by the number of posts here? Usually my DH has been pretty good but he is definitely better in the morning (which means I have to get up really early...) Last night I was pretty sure I had already O'ed but I thought I might want to cover my bases so I start flirting with him and he says "are you trying to start something?" and I said "maybe...ok, yes...." and he says "because you want to or because we need to." and I said "well it wouldn't be a bad idea but we don't need to, mostly I just want to" and he says "good then, not tonight because I am really tired." LAME-O!!! This is the guy who used to want it 4+ times a day!

On a serious note - he says before we were TTC he would want to start something (at very inconvenient times) and I would say no - so he says now that is why he doesn't start things more often because he was sick of getting all riled up only to get rejected. Now I don't remember that so much but what can I say - I think he justs likes getting seduced!

you are not along, girlfriend!!!
