Am I pregnant or am I sick?

So here is a little back story. My husband and I were going to start trying again for our 2nd child in October, he chose the month (trying to get him involved, and he wanted to be). So I ovulated this month on the 19th or 20th of July. My husband used the "withdrawl method" .........don't know why b/c he normally uses condoms and yada yada. Anyways using the withdrawl method is probably not the safest way but now we are getting to where my question is with this post. So on Tuesday early morning like 1:15 am I am woken up running to the bathroom with horrible vomiting, and then again at 3:15. Early wednesday morning around the same time it happened again. Now all smells are bothering me, I am still feel really nauseous and I don't know if I am pregnant or just sick. Kind of hoping I am pregnant, as is my husband. I can remember the first night of puking he runs into the bathroom and sees me hoovering over the toilet and says, "oh goodie you might be pregnant". Not the best timing husband but later I thought it was cute. I had not started charting yet like I did when I got pregnant with my son (he is 2 1/2). So I have forgotten all the lingo and what not, is it too early to take a pregnancy test? Thanks for listening and have a greay day!

If you ovulated on the 19th or 20th then you are 14 or 13 days past ovulation and (depending on cycle length) that should be late enough to test.  I got my +HPT for my daughter on 10DPO back in Sept 2010.  Is AF late? If AF is late, or even if not, I'd test....that's the only way to know for sure.

I don't think it's too early to take a test either, especially if you take one that can test several days before AF is due.

It's hard to saying if the vomiting could be morning sickness or not, it seems pretty early for that to be setting in. On the other hand, I would think that if you were sick you would have it all day long and not just hit you in the middle of the night.

Please let us know if you decide to test or not!

Thank you all for your replies. So now the queezy sick feeling is lasting all day. I have not tested yet because I would rather wait until I am actually late. My husband came home yesterday with a wide array of pregnancy test so I know he is anxious. I still don't think pregnant but would love it if we were. Its odd to me why I am already feeling this sick if I am pregnant. With my son I had "morning sickness" all 39 weeks so this queezy feeling is not something I look forward too but I know is a healthy sign.  I think I am also scared to take the test too, I mean you have all these emotions that are bulit up hoping to see that + sign and when it comes out negative it kind of changes my emotions to sad ones. So as much as I hate waiting I will wait one more day. I will test tomorrow morning....wish me luck!

Are you feeling any better this week?  Did you test? How did it go?
