Wow...that's great that you can get in for the u/s so quickly! I don't have any personal knowledge of cysts but I think it's ok while ttc. We hear about women with cysts getting bfps all the time. Plus, I would imagine if it really was a big deal your dr would have warned you to take extra precautions...

My ob/gyn is great about getting me in for these things. I'm a little nervous for today, and AF showed this morning just in time for the ultrasound...wonderful...

Gotta love AF and her crappy timing!!

Thanks ladies. Had the u/s, there was quite a bit of "free fluid" most likely indicating that a cyst had ruptured. The tech said I most really know my body because I knew exactly where it was. I told her unfortunately you get to know those things well when you deal with this crap long enough. My doc will review everything from the scan and should call me tomorrow or Friday. I know there's not much I can do, but I definitely have some questions for her. Mostly dealing with fertility and if it will effect it or not. I guess it's wait and see for now!

Just wanted to give you ladies a quick update, dr was supposed to call Thur or Fri, I didn't hear from her so I called Fri afternoon and she had already left for the day. Today is her surgery day so I probably won't hear from her until tomorrow. I was a little upset but I guess there's not much I can do now! She's usually really good about these things, so I'm not sure what happened. So, hopefully I will have a REAL update for you tomorrow! Hope you both had a wonderful holiday weekend!!

That's a bummer! It seems like all we do around here is wait! Wait for answers, wait to O, 2ww, 1ww ugh!!!

I see the RE tomorrow so we'll see what "answers" I get this time...

Heard from my doc, it was a ruptured cyst on the right side. There is also a small 1/4 to 1/2 inch cyst on the left side that "shouldn't" be a problem (I hope)! She said that it should not effect TTC (yay!) but if I'm not pregnant by March I need to go in and they will probably do a lap. Sooo, here's to getting knocked up by March! :)

Did you have your appt with the RE yet today???
