I have the Answer stick OPKs and don't mind them...I actually have yet to see a +, but I've had no trouble reading them in general. (I do hate the strips by them though!) My major complaint is no cover for the part you pee on for when you're done...

I used them for one cycle and wanted to throw them out the window. It was my first cycle TTC and I didn't realize that I ovulate around day 18 or 19. I was expecting to O on day 14 because I thought that was "normal". As the days passed, the test line never really got much darker. I was getting frustrated so I decided to try a digital OPK in conjunction with the Answer test. By day 18 I got a + on the digital and the Answer test looked darker....but still not a true positive. I'm convinced that if I would have only relied on the Answer test I would have missed my peak fertile time.

So....I guess I'm not a fan!

Oops...just read your post more carefully. I was talking about the strips, not the sticks. Sorry!!

I used Answer brand this past cycle and got a definite positive for 2 days in a row. It was 2 days after I expected to see the positive, but I think they were correct since I had O pain about 36 hours after my first positive test. The test line was significantly darker than the control line on mine on the days it was positive.

This is the first time I tried this brand, so I don't have long term experience to go by. (As far as this brand...I always had good luck with First Response OPK's when TTC ds a few years ago.

Ahh the answer brand OPK. They are driving me crazy. This is my 3rd cycle using them I also get several days of not quite + then the next day completely negative.
