When they did the surgery, they actually looked under the microscope during the procedure to make sure that they removed all of the affected area. I have not had an issue with it returning and that was 6 years ago. I do have a nice sized scar on my nose now but I will take that to the alternative. I never put the cream on my face because I was to worried about what it would do. I have really sensitive skin so I opted to keep an eye on things and go to the dermatologist regularly.

I agree with Pranamomma....use the time to chart and maybe once all of the procedures are done you will heal and have a new little one brewing :)

Keep us posted :)

Yes, I plan on charting. Just waiting for my first AF still. Ugh! I have a feeling my cycle may be wacky since I just M/C, so charting my temps may help me plan things right for TTC and also they are also something tangible I can take to my OB for fertility help. I usually ovulate really late or not at all, so I've needed clomid in the past.

onlyoneal13, Thanks for your information. I know I have two spots, one is superficial and will be cut out tomorrow. The other spot has to be done by a specialist who I haven't met yet, so I don't know for sure what the treatment will be and won't even get to talk to his office for 2 or 3 weeks. Have your spots stayed away? how long did you apply to cream? Thanks!

No insight here but wanted to send some positive vibes your way & wish you a speedy recovery so you can jump back OB the ttc train.

Even though you can't ttc during treatment, you could chart & monitor your cycle. This will give you valuable information when you do start ttc again. Best of luck!

I had a spot of Basal Cell Carcinoma removed via micrographic surgury from my nose when I was 25.
