My last menstral period was on August 18. I have been having pregnancy symptoms (frequent urinate, cramping, nausea, headaches, mood swings and fatigue) but I am not pregnant (was comfirmed at the doctor today) They can't seem to find out what is wrong with me or find out why I am not having a menstral cycle. I was put on Provera (a female hormone) today and given a perscription for Clomid to see if things can get rolling. My question is if anyone has been in the same boat? Is anyone on Clomid and trying to conceive? My husband and I have been trying to conceive for other a year now. With no luck. I am desperately wanting a baby. Are we trying too hard to conceive and that's why things aren't working out the way we want? Please any input or information will be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to hear all your problems, that awful they cannot find out what it is and you're not pg! How frustrating. Well I just finished my 1st round of clomid, 100mg taken cd 4-8 due to long af's. I skipped a month in July so my doc thinks I may be Oing like every other month or something so instead of guessing and messing around, I just started clomid, it's a bit early but I wanted it. We've only been ttc for about 2 mo. but I really wanted to get the ball rolling to make sure I Oed each and every month. The hot flashes are awful while you're on it, and after your last pill, I continued to have them. Take them at night, if I can give any advice, take them right before bed so you sleep your side effects away. I had some terrible, terrible O pain for about 4 days before I actually Oed, a side effect from the pill most likely from more than one egg producing, I had the most awful dulling, swelled feeling in my lower left abdomen for four days! It would not move or go away, I felt so bloated! I know I for sure Oed from my left side....LOL, my gosh was that painful. So all in all, if it produces high quality eggs then I'll take it two more cycles and thats it. Make sure you get monitored or an u/s to make sure you won't get any ovarian cysts from the clomid, it's not to common but you should be checked every month after a cycle for percautions. Good luck with it, I hope this is our month on it...only another 2 weeks to find out.
HTH. Good luck.
