Anyone have any thoughts...?

Hi ladies,

Just wanted to see if anyone might have any insight or might be able to help me figure out what might be going on with me...

I'm anywhere from 14-19 DPO today. FF says with advanced setting that I O'd on CD 12, with research setting on CD 14, and one of their question people on their VIP board said CD 17, so that's why I have such a range for DPO. I tested again today, and the tests (I used first response and answer) were negative. I have had some really really light spotting the past couple days - I used an instead cup and there was a little stuff in in but not much at all - and it was creamy and with a brown tint to it. I did have a couple very small specks of red/pink mixed in too, but it was a very very small amount. I just don't know what to think. Having some weird crampy feelings today, so not sure if AF might be going to show up here soon or what is going on. I started taking B6 this cycle in hopes of extending my LP some since its been short (less than 10 days) since my cycles came back from having my son. So I guess if nothing else it did its job.

I'm just so confused and so emotional and so frustrated about this cycle and I just don't know what to do or think.

My chart link is in my siggy.

Thanks ladies for any help or advice you can give.

Well, I guess at this point it could either mean the B6 is doing its job or else you are going to get a late BFP. Did you stop taking the B6? I would consider going to your doctor and having them take a quantitative blood test. I think that is the one where they actually check your levels and not just say yes or no. Sorry AF is playing games with you. (hugs)

Thanks for your reply :-) I think I'll see what happens today and if no BFP tomorrow or no AF, I'll call the doctor tomorrow and see what they say. Should I stop the B6? I've been debating and just don't know whether to continue to take it or stop. If I O'd on CD 17, today would be 14 DPO, so I figure if that was the O date, then the B6 extended my LP some anyway. FF's average for LP was 12 (took into account my charts I did before getting pregnant with my son).

Thanks again for your help!

I'd stop the B6, but that's just me.

Called the OB this afternoon. Explained that I am late - for me anyway. The nurse said normally they don't see anyone that's late and has a BFN unless they're past 38 days since their last cycle. I explained how my normal LP is 10 days or less since having AJ and that today I'm on a minimum of 14 DPO, but probably more than that. So she's going to run everything by the on call doctor and give me a call back.

I hate that, it's because they are used to women who have no clue if they O'd late.

The OB called back. The doctors all said to "just be a little more patient" and try again in 5 days and then call them either way and let them know what happens - whether I get a positive, a negative, or AF. If its still negative, then they'll see me and try to figure out what is going on. I will probably be testing each morning from now through Friday or until AF shows up and will probably call them Friday if no AF or if its still negative. And if one happens to turn positive before then, I'll be calling earlier :-) So we'll see what happens.

One nice thing about my OB is that they encourage charting. The hospital they are associated with hold courses on charting. The OB office will not write prescriptions for any type of birth control.

I see AF showed for you, I guess it was the B6 then. Are you going to keep taking it and just get used to a longer LP?

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do. I'm not going to test at all before 14 or 15 DPO from now on
