Anyone have a BBT thermometer go out?

My thermometer has been on the blink the last couple of weeks. There are times when I have taken my temp and it says it's 105 degrees.---THus, it's been somewhat unreliable. Anyway...so I swear I O'd earlier this week---my typical increasing amounts of EWCM over the course of a few days and then pretty dry. ALso, usually when I've O'd my afternoon temps are around 99 which they hardly even reach 98 degrees pre-O and the last 2 or 3 days my temps have been near 99. SO my question is this: this am I woke about 1 1/2 hours early and took my temp at 5 a.m. The temp was 97.3. If I adjust it to a 6:30 waking time it would be 97.6 and be above the coverline (97.3 is not above). Does your temp stay above the coverline no matter what time you wake post-O? Or has anyone had their thermometer go out on them? I've had this one for about 4 years now (though I've not used it all the time over the last 4 years---just around the times I've wanted to conceive and I have 2 children now). If I have O'd is there still a possibility of being pg?

Thanks.

Get a new battery or thermometer! They get wacky when the batteries get low. As far as the temp, yes you can have dips esp around implantation (if you concieved it would be 5-10 dpo) tho I would adjust it as waking times can affect temps. But as I said, if you really want to temp you need a new battery or therm (less than$10 at most drug stores). HTH
