Hey there! With all i've heard bout peeps who try and try and dont get preggers till they stop trying....well we figure it cant hurt to try not trying : D
I threw my chart out and am just bd'ing every day with a monitor. I found that the chart creates more obsessive behavior and I was convinced mine showed a pg and it didn't..
I used to chart my temps but I have since stopped. I felt that it was consuming me. I was analyzing every little temp drop and spike. Now I still use FF but I only input my CM and sometimes CP. I will also use OPK's sometimes. I just try to BD every other day around when I O.
Having said that though, I am glad that I charted my temps for a while because I now know approximately when I O.
I just went of my birth control pills 3 weeks ago and I was going to chart, but my husband said, lets just see what happens because we don't want to get crazy over it. God will provide us with a child when the time is right - so we are not going to chart. So really, I don't have any idea when I ovulate or anything. I haven't gotten AF yet from being off the pill, but hopefully in another week or so I will get it so at leas I know I'm functioning right. Good luck to all!
Thats our "plan" right now too. I recently came off the pill and we are just letting my body get back to being off it and BD'ing pretty much at all times LOL Hoping that we have beginner's luck, its out first time TTC!
No charting here, I tend towards obsessive anyway and that would put me right over the edge LOL. I did use opk's last month just to make sure I'm O'ing, which I am. My cycles are regular and the O was spot on where it should be, so YES just BD'ing. Plus we want to keep our sex life healthy while TTC we don't want BD'ing to become "for procreation only" we still want it "for recreation only" with a PG as a bonus LOL
And good on the girls right off BCP's not charting since your cycles can take up to six months to normalize, charting crazy cycles would drive me even more insane LOL. (not that you won't get PG for six months but the cycles can be screwy).
I tend to be a very obsessive person and really enjoy extremes, so I definately think that if I charted, it would drive me completely mad!
Since I feel O every month (pinch/pain), we just BD before, that day, and a couple of days after. I am only on cycle 3. If we start getting frustrated because it is not happening, then I might turn to a fertility monitor. But, i really CANNOT see myself charting and checking CM every day...did I mention I was also the lazy type! ;)

I monitor my CM & use OPK but never have charted in my 10 months of trying. I'm glad to know I am not the only one.
