So we were swaying for about 3 months now I just wanna get pregnant but scared I will end up with another boy. I want a girl and then be done. I feel thats all I am missing to be complete. I have 2 hurdles to jump. First is getting pregnant then finding out the gender...

ha! This is kind of ironic because I have been so set on having a girl for the past 4 months. But now I just really want a baby. I want my children close in age and my two boys are 17 months which is difficult but perfect at the same time. I have been thinking of having a girl but I know I wont be dissapointed with a boy. I had bad depression with my second son because I was sure he was a girl but now I think of it as boys being fun. I still would rather have a girl if it were my choice but I want a HEALTHY baby. I have been taking my prenatals and figure it wont hurt if I stay on the girl diet and BD everyday. I am on day 3 of my period so the window is coming up soon :)

Hi mama :) I think we've chatted before, but I was also swaying for a girl. I'm on month 6 of trying. DS will be 5 in June.

Last month and the month before I was little more intense about it. This month I totally gave in to those things that just help get you pregnant - which unfortunately sway boy.

When AF arrived two weeks ago I really realized the my disappointment in not being pregnant was becoming bigger than my disappointment in not having a girl. I would NOT be disappointed in having a boy, I would just feel like I'm missing out by not having a girl - does that make sense?

This month we bd every other day. Used preseed (had some left over from months 1 and 2 - stop using when I found out it swayed boy), the last to bd times. I gave in to the big O all times :) I'm still taking calcium, magnesium, and cranberry. I used replens the third bd time before O (don't like stuff).

I used opks again this month and I got a fantastic positive - strongest ever - Wed night. Think I o'd late yesterday/early today. Really hoping this is my, excuse me - OUR month :)

I'm at the point now where I just want to be knocked up. But I'm still hoping for a girl.

GL and please keep me posted.... where are you in your cycle?

All I can tell you is that I didn't O until 5 days after we DTD and I'm having a girl :-)

Hey all. I am new to this board. We are going to start TTC in about 6 weeks. Trying for a boy this time. I've been reading all the tricks to having a boy, so we'll see what happens. Would be happy with either boy or girl of course, but I'm really wanting a boy :)

I always heard, that alto you can try different things, like diet, sex positions, timed intercourse with ovulation? it doesn't give you a 100% chance of the gender you want.

hello!! so i havent tried swaying-i know there are things you can do though-i would check out the gender determination board. i know theres a certain diet you can eat as well to help sway the gender...i think if you have sex a few days before ovulation, the chances are better for a girl. although, my sis bd right on her ovulation day-she was trying hardcore for a boy...and i have another niece. so that part may or may not work...and if you do get pregnant and its another boy...i think that would be something you can get over. i was a little bit disappointed when i found out my 2nd child was a girl (we wanted a boy), but i got over it really quick. take care!!!

Are you doing anything to sway gender? It's hard when you want a specific gender, how do you think you'll feel if it's another boy? I know that there will be disappointment, do you think it will be something you'll be able to get past?
