HI there I have hung out at this board a lot when ttc with the first two pregnancies, and now we are trying for number three. I am really really scared of having another miscarriage. I went to my OBGYN for an appointment to get the okay to try again and she said that I am in terrific shape and sees no reason for the first two losses other than an abnormality in the embryo. She said that they don't dig deeper into finding out why the mc's happen until you have three. I don't think I can go through it again, it's been a horrible ride so far. Any words of support out there, anyone in my shoes or knows anyone who had a sucessful third pregnancy. I went to the ttc after mc and recurent mc board but there arent many people there and I remember the increadably support I get from the women on this board so I hope it's okay to be here. We are going to start trying in September and are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that our wishes finally do come true. Thanks

Hey there,

I am in the exact same boat that you are, in addition, I am RH- which I found out after my 2nd m/c. It was a nightmare. We have been TTC now for 10 months, I just started my 11th cycle, 3rd try after the 2nd m/c and yes, we are nervous. I think time does help, although, I must admit I am no longer very romantic about the whole idea. My state of mind is really impatient and I don't want to deal with any more waiting or trauma, so mostly I'm just irritated to pissed off all the time. That's easier than mopey and sad though so we're ok. It'll happen when it happens and in the mean time I have a very good life.

Best to you

I'm scared too~ you're not alone. Though both of mine were so early- hardly time enough to get attached, it was still hard. I have gone through times that I think I just can't go through that again, but then I think, what other option do I have? The chances of another m/c for us is slim and we have to embrace the odds and hope for the best. If Dr has said there is no cause, then your chances of a *sticky* BFP is great.

GL to you and HUGE ((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Hey Shannon,

Just wanted to say sorry for your 2 losses. I've never even been pregnant, ( that I know of anyway, thinking back before TTC, wondering if I may have had a chem pg or 2 ) so I really don't have any info to offer there. Just wanted to wish you luck and let you know that there is tons of support on this board. GL to you!!!! Hope you get your BFP soon!!!
