? for anyone who has taken Provera

Since I know I'm not pg I can't obsess about that right now and since I know that AF is all screwed up I'm stuck in a waiting pattern so now I'm obsessing about this Provera and cycle #2. lol ;) For anyone who has been on Provera before, what was the cycle after Provera like? Any better? Any worse? I'm so afraid that after AF does show up I could be stuck in the same boat next cycle sitting around on cd43 with another round of BFNs and no AF in sight.
Does having to use the Provera this cycle mean that I did not O? or just that I didn't wait around long enough to see when AF might have come (if ever)? I thought I knew when I O'd last month but now it's pretty obvious that I was wrong. If I had O'd when I thought I did AF should have come 14 days later shouldn't it? It worries me that maybe I didn't O at all.
I know I'm worrying too much but a girls' gotta have something to obsess about, right? lol

I'm a big-time lurker but I had to reply to your post because you're so much like me. I've found this message board to so comforting in that it seems that with all the different issues people have with TTC, there always seems to be a treatment and someone else out there that is or has gone through the same sort of thing.
Vitex is an herb that is supposed to regulate your hormones, particularly estrogen and progesterone. There's lots of info out there if you do a search for Vitex. A lot of people take "Fertility Blend" vitamins and Vitex is in that. I already take a multivitamin with folic acid and I didn't want to over do it with the other vitamins. When my hormone tests came back "normal" and there was no other course of action I felt I needed to do something!
