Are my HCG levels too low :(

I have gotten three BFPs with HPTs (a bit faint, but definitely +). My B/T from 10DPO were also +, but the HCG levels were only 37...is that too low, or is that OK for this early on? Hopefully I'm overreacting, but please help!

Thanks!

NO! Those numbers are NOT too low! You're still so early! Here's a link for you on hcg: http://www.conceivingconcepts.com/learning/articles/hcg.html

Below I've just pasted the pertinent info that you want:

At 14 DPO, the average HCG level is 48 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-119 mIU/ml.

* At 15 DPO, the average HCG level is 59 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-147 mIU/ml.

* At 16 DPO, the average HCG level is 95 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 33-223 mIU/ml.

* At 17 DPO, the average HCG level is 132 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-429 mIU/ml.

* At 18 DPO, the average HCG level is 292 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 70-758 mIU/ml.

* At 19 DPO, the average HCG level is 303 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 111-514 mIU/ml.

* At 20 DPO, the average HCG level is 522 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 135-1690 mIU/ml.

* At 21 DPO, the average HCG level is 1061 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 324-4130 mIU/ml.

* At 22 DPO, the average HCG level is 1287 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 185-3279 mIU/ml.

* At 23 DPO, the average HCG level is 2034 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 506-4660 mIU/ml.

* At 24 DPO, the average HCG level is 2637 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 540-10,000 mIU/ml.

Remember that levels will double every 48-72 hours which brings levels up very fast. Did your Dr ask you to come back for another b/t to check the doubling? If not- give a call and ask about that- it will make you feel better.

GL and congratulations!!!!!

I just remember reading that at 10DPO they can be as low as 10 and as high as 50, so 37 sounds good. Did your Dr. give you the results? I am sure if they were too low they would have said something> I know the most important thing is what they do now, they are supposed to double and triple in the next few days/weeks, so that is the important thing. when I had my m/c they basically dropped, whereas they were suppossed to be doubling.

I am sure things are fine, but if you are really worried give your Dr. a ring and they can confirm

Have a good weekend!!!

Thanks to you both for responding...I feel much better :) I know I'm just being paranoid. Tara - yes, my doc said I should come back next week to make sure everything is on course. Phew! Good luck testing tomorrow Tara...I'll be thinking of you and wishing you well. Here's some VERY fresh baby dust sprinkled all the way from VA to Canada!

Hi, was your hcg 37 on 10DPO? I had mine done yesterday at 11DPO and it was 16. I am so scared that something is wrong. Do you know what your progesterone was?

I would be thrilled it they had told me 37. I think all will work out perfect for you. God bless and best wishes!!

Hi Brandi

I bet you are fine...both of us are REALLY early and I don't think you should be concerned about your results. As Tara said in her response, you can always make an appointment to have your levels tested again next week to make sure they're doing what they need to do. I think the more important thing is that they increase at the appropriate rate, and its not quite as much where you start out.

I didn't have progesterone levels done, so I'm no help there...sorry!

Good luck sweetie!
