Yup- I'm at it again! What a nag!LOL! I see many newbies joining in and sharing their wonderful and heartfelt stories....have you seen them? Please take a moment and make them feel welcome! Remember when you first visited the board and posted the first time....how you waited and waited for someone to respond to you? Lets make these wonderful women feel like they belong- some of them really need us.

Thank-you all!

Hi Tara

Being a newbie not too long ago,I have found it a little hard to fit in with some groups that have been together for a while.I do believe that alot of these women have been on here together for quite awhile and as a newbie maybe we need to try a little harder also.I have sometimes went back to lurking when my posts have not been responded to and I don't think that helps. So maybe with effort from the long time members and the newbies we will all get to know each other a little better.

Hopeful everyone who reads this understands what I mean b/c I surely did not want to offend anyone.

HI Tracey,

I have been posting/lurking for a few weeks now and completely understand what you mean. Last week, I went into the chat room and found that to be very helpful. Everyone was friendly and had a lot of advice and support to offer. I would check in there from time to time if you are not getting what you need from the boards. If there is anything you'd like to talk about, let me know :)

Good luck!

I am kinda new...I have been posting off and on here for 3-4 months. I am TTC#2 and find it VERY hard to fit in with some of the women who have been here for a while. I am looking forward to some friends, and hope that things get better. good luck to you both!~!

Hi Jenn,

We just started TTC#1 in August. I went of bcp the end of May, and it seems my cycle is a little wacky...thought I was pregnant, but have had negative tests...the doctor says I must not have ovulated...I am on CD #44! (OK, so I am a little frustrated...LOL) Doc says if AF does not show by 9/17, that I need to go back on go on meds to induce AF and start my cycle. I have my fingers crossed that I will prove him wrong and really am pregnant...wishful thinking, I know....but wouldn't it be nice?? My sister in law had a baby girl on Sat...I was hoping to tell her that she would have a cousin soon when I go and see her tonite :)

That is my story...what is yours?

Ladies..

Hello.. I'm Cathy! This is our 3rd month TTC...

I first joined these boards half way through my first month, and I know what you mean about it being hard fitting in. It took me a little while to feel like I was really a part of the group. But by my 2nd month ttc, I was a regular shoe-in.. I think it just takes a couple of weeks to really get in there and start talking it up with the other ladies.

If there's anyone who's feeling a little left out, please come down and join the "june bugs"... we were the MaYBe Mommies last month. There are almost 45 of us now, and we just keep growing! I have recently posted a "monday stats" down in the "waiting to O" section. We are currently ranging from cd1 to cd22... I'm sure you could find a cycle buddy with us too!

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and welcome you down to chat with us... ((((baby dust))))) to all!

Beautiful! Thank-you Cathy!! This is a great solution. I think you are all right...with any new group it may take a while to feel totally comfortable. It is all of our responsibility to help this along. Us "oldies" need to make an extra effort to post to those we don't necessarily recognize, but too....the "newbies" need to make an effort to jump in and participate as much as they can~ otherwise we'll never get to know you! By joining a group- this is nice way to get to know your fellow TTCers- and YES! Please participate in the chats! You can use the chat room anytime at all- and there is a scheduled chat one Thurs @1:00pm est. Just click on the link at the top of the board.

Jump in and get involved!

Hi to all the newbies...I am new to this board and I am not ttcing...but I did from 98 till this year...I have been through alot in this years..so much that some people would not believe me if I told it all...if any of you newer ones feel like you need help or just support please feel free to ask anything..I usually take the time to look over all the posts to see if there is anything that I can add to help..and I always make sure to look at the threads that have not been answered at all...time constraints do fit into my schedule..so if you don't get a response as fast as you would like..email me direct at anprdp@mindspring.com...I hope this helps all of you..and that you don't feel like I am infringing on this turf...because I know the feeling of longing for a baby..and not knowing where to start...baby dust to all..and I hope for sure that you all get what you want soon

I would just like to sign in as a semi-newbie and congratulate the women on this board for being very welcoming. This is actually one of the most active boards around and I have never had a problem (aside from being WAY impatient - "what do you mean it's been an hour and nobody responded???" ) in getting a response. Thanks to everybody for their support and encouragement and advice. I'll try and spread the love :).

Hi, my name is Kat, and I've been posting a lot since march. I've found this board to be very helpful and very supportive. I pretty much still lurk around alot, but have posted more in the past few months than I originally did. I'm still confused at some of the acronym terms that are used for certain phrases. So I tend to write everything out. Thanks for being so patient.
