Ok so let me just start by saying that my husband and I are very picky, we've been through a 100,000 baby name book and I've been looking online at websites for the past 2 years and we still have yet to agree or find a perfect girl name. We've picked out our boy name no problem. But for the girl it's more complicated.. let me just start by saying I don't mean to offend anyone.. lets start by saying what we want and don't want.

This is a fun kind of challenge! lol ;)
The PP had some great ideas, and I dont' know if any of these will be to your liking, but it's worth a shot.
BTW, it's perfectly okay to be picky. It's good to think about the future when naming your child.

Leanne, Vivienne, Chelsea, Eve, Frances, Gwen (Gwendolyn maybe?), Harmony, Melody, Lucille.
Those are the only ones I can come up with right now. Hope it helped a little :)

I agree with Isabelle (Izzy) for short....also lets see: these are the only two others that I could think of: Leann and Laurel, oh and Marjorie....

I understand being so picky on names, I am the same way, DH keep bringng up Eliza Marie...I don't like that one AT ALL, LOL! I would suggest you have a few and then wait to see the babys personaility when you meet her! HTH!!!

I'm a big fan of older names that aren't as popular:

Sophie, Evelyn (Evie), Adeline (Addie), Grace, Julie or Hazel.

Good luck and let us know what you decide!!

Thanks all.. still no such luck. Isabella is pretty but my husband dreads that someone may call her Izzy and we hate that.. still looking I guess!

There's a couple of books out called "Cool Baby Names" and "Cooler Baby Names". I would say check them out for some unique names... here's some of mine:

Coco
Daphne
Tudor
Anais
Lola
Leola
Xiola (Zy-ola)

Hope this helps!
