Ok so maybe I'm screwing up my temp and that's my problem...

Short Question:

Do you record just the first temp you get in the morning no matter what (even if it's way out of wack) or do you take it mulitple times to make sure it's correct and record the average?

I think you need to buy a new themometer.

I agree with the pp...I got my thermometer from Longs for about $10, and I'm sure you could even find one for less if needed. I would, however, wait until your next cycle to use a new thermometer, or at least indicate on your chart when you made the switch because that could mess up your chart.

As far as which temp to take, I would go with the first one as that would be your actual waking temperature, not 10 minutes after the fact trying to get a consistent reading. I think the biggest thing is seeing a trend over time, and not spending time worrying about what the actual number is day to day.
