You can use any BBT thermometer, so long as it goes out to at least the tenth degree. I recommend a thermometer that's designed specifically for taking basal body temperature because they are the easiest to use...stick it in your mouth (or vagina), wait for it to beep and you're set to go. Most BBT also store at least your most recent temp so you don't have to write it down right away.
I got my BBT from Longs for about $10. Any pharmacy or big-box store should have them for around $10.
