Well, I should feel on cloud nine...I just found out I am pregnant (5 1/2 weeks).
I did the same thing with my first pregnancy. At about 5-6 weeks I spotted for a day or 2 and totally freaked out! I did the same thing a month after that and then all was fine. I now have a wonderful healthy 6 year old daughter so all was fine. Just relax (I know easier said than done) Oh, and a big fat CONGRATULATIONS on getting your BFP :) I am super excited for you :)!!!

TRY not to worry too much. It's natural to do so but I bled soooo very much with my DS who is now a perfect 3 year old.

Pregnant with #2
BFP on 11 DPO
HCG 17 DPO = 2,000
HCG 20 DPO = 10,979
HCG 23 DPO = 25,588 (u/s showed gestational sac)
27 DPO = u/s showed baby and hearbeat! YAY!
Congratulations on your BFP!!
And ITA with the others about the spotting being totally normal. When I was pregnant with my DD, I bled so much that I thought it was my period and that I wasn't pg! I had 4 days of spotting, 3 days of actual flow, then 3 more days of spotting...and everything was fine. Then at about 6 weeks I had spotting again and even a horrible back ache. But again, everything was fine and I went through needless stress.
Many many women experience spotting in the first trimester, especially around the time they would normally have their period.
You and baby will be just fine!!
