I'm going to start using my OPK's next cycle and it says to use mid afternoon. I was wondering when some of you use yours? My thing is that I work from 11am til 7pm so mid afternoon for me will be 4ish or 5ish. I just dont know when the best time is to tests. Thanks, KC

I test around 4 or 5, when I get home from teaching school. I try not to pee after noon.

So I need to hold my pee and not drink anything til I get ready to test?

I think hold it between 4 and 5 hours. That's what I do.

And I still drink, just not a whole lot. I limit my drinking.

When I used opk's I tended to get positives later in the day -around 5 or 6. It is best to hold your pee & limit your fluids so your urine isn't too diluted, but it's a bit of a catch 22 since you need to stay hydrated to make fertile cm
