Breast tenderness duration

I'm trying to figure out if my breast tenderness is normal, and how it fits in with TTC.

Normally my breasts (mainly nipples) get sore a few days BEFORE I ovulate. Then they are sore WHEN I ovulate, and then they continue to be sore AFTER ovulation and all the way up until the day of or day after AF.

I've read that most will have sore breasts a day or two before and after O, but that the breast tenderness will decrease since your progesterone levels are now decreasing. And then breasts might start to get sore again a few days before AF.

I read somewhere that if the side of your breasts hurt after O, that means you had a successful O. If your side and front breast still hurt after O, that means you had an unsuccessful O - not enough Progesterone produced and too much estrogen remaining. Which means that the environment wouldn't be good for conception.

It's been 2-3 days after O, and my breasts hurt - front and side. Does that mean i O'd but unsuccessfully? So that means most likely not pregnant?

Also, if my breasts stay sore after ovulation and until AF projected date, does that mean that i am automatically not pregnant? Wouldn't my breasts stop hurting if I were to have conceived?

Just trying to figure out why my breasts hurt for so long before and after O since it seems to be unusual for most women to have sore breasts for such a long period of time, and if this is a sign that i didn't get pregnant - again.

thank you!

I've only had sore breasts with pregnancy, but I did find an article that says that some women can experience it from ovulation through their period: http://www.ivillage.com/breast-tenderness-normal-when-ovulating/6-n-145791 You might try decreasing your caffeine intake to see if it helps, the article says it can make it worse.
