That certainly could be the case. You are consuming an extreme amount of caffeine a day.

I wouldn't recommend going cold turkey or anything.

That could cause

Last cycle I switched from coffee with whole milk to green tea plain, and I ovulated about 3 days earlier and got pregnant. Unfortunately the bean did not stick, but I am sticking with green tea instead of coffee (most of the time). I know that green tea does have caffeine, but it's a lot less than coffee.
Good luck scaling back; it's a hard addiction to kick!

Kitty!
You know, I Love coffee!
I used to drink a lot, all the time.

But last month I put on my new braces, and to avoid stains in my teeth I´ve reduced the amount of coffee. Here in Brazil is quite common to have lots of "espressos" during the day, so I started to take only one to get out of bed (sometimes) and one after lunch (religious!) And traded for tea in the afternoon ( I used to take 5 more fixes while at work).
It may be a coincidence, but in the month I reduced, I got PG.]

Careful with green tea! I´ve been told that it kind of blocks the absorption of folic acid, the most important ingredient to "bake our little cakes" healthy.

Take care!

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I have heard that about green tea, too, but I've read that it's okay in moderation. I limit myself to 2 cups a day.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, by the way, Lua, I must have missed that announcement! Here's hoping the rest of us can join you soon!

Hi kitty!

I don't drink coffee but I used to be a Coke junkie, I used to drink way too much coke and if I didn't have a coke I had a mountain dew(which has more caffeine than coke!) and it was the same with chocolate, is like I was addicted! So now I don't drink any sodas just juice, lemonade or water :) so it is possible to get rid of all those bad habits but I did slowly I didn't go cold turkey, I tried but the headaches were horrible! So when DH and I decided to have a baby I knew it was time to cut down the caffeine, my OBGYN said that I could have some but in small amounts but personally I decided that it was better just to stop any intake of caffeine (just to get rid of any temptation). What I did I started limiting the amounts, the first couple of days I didn't drink the whole can, then after that I cut down one can a day everyday switching over to juice, lemonade or water and so on and it worked for me. You can also try what the other ladies said abut switching one or two cans or cup for caffeine free sodas or coffee. I did the same thing with chocolate. And the best part is that I feel more healthy and is one thing less to worry about after O day. I know you can do it so GL!
