My Dr. mentioned that I can be active during O time, but to take it easy when implantation would be occurring. It just hit me that yesterday we spent the whole day on the lake and there were tons of bumps. I was sitting on the hard floor (with our dog) and I was bouncing around everywhere. I'm 5 dpo.

I know this may sound like a crazy question, but how much do these things effect getting preg? I'm currently doing IUI and would hate to have "wasted" his month. Ugh....

Thanks!

Heather

I've often wondered about this, I even posted several weeks ago about exercise in the 2ww.

I would assume they meant no long distance running or doing a 25 mile bike ride (uphill)- strenuous stuff like that.

I try not to go swimming right around when I O (like a couple days before it should happen and a few days after) because I worry that the chlorine could hurt the sperm.

Thanks for all your answers! I think next month (hopefully there won't be one!) I am going to make sure I take it easy. It's ironic b/c I was hoping to go out on the lake to relax to help things, but ended up creating a whole new issue!
The joys of ttc!

Thanks again!
