Can exercise derail TTC?

DH and I are TTC #2 and I'm wondering if strenuous exercise during the 2WW could derail conception, implantation, and a potential pregnancy. I've been on Weight Watchers for almost 3 months and have lost 28 lbs (~25-30 more to go) by eating right and going to the gym for an hour a day 6 days a week.

I was thinking of the same topic yesterday. I too have lost some weight with Weight Watchers and have been doing an aerobic activity every day and was wondering if it was somehow affect TTC. Everywhere I read on the net is "if you have been doing exercise regularly before pregnancy, you should be fine to do it during pregnancy, but as your doctor for your specific information". If I were you, I'd just keep doing your exercises, but nothing excessively jarring or any exercise that would cause you to fall or anything, I'd say maybe take your running down to a brisk walk instead.........but as always, I'd say ask your obgyn or family doctor to be on the safe side. =D

Congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome & I really don't think you have anything to worry about -now or once you get your bfp. Lots of runners get pregnant & continue running during their pregnancy too -even doing marathons! If it does nag at you, you could stick with the treadmill & the elliptical during the 2ww -you wouldn't want your subconscious to derail your ttc attempts! Good luck :)
