Can u have AF-like cramping and be preg?

I have been having AF-like cramping for about 4 days.....AF is due tomorrow....and temps are good on my chart...could I be experencing cramping due to pregnancy? Did any of you ladies experience AF cramping?

Speaking only for myself.. I did have them with my first child.. and my second child.

I read the night before the boards changed over.. and it said that the af-like cramps are actually bringing more blood-flow to the uterus.. and, when it's felt in pregnancy, it's due to the lining being built up.

You can definitely have AF-like-cramping if you are pregnant. I did and I am now 9 weeks pg. It was one of my strongest pg symptoms. I hope this is it for you!

Jen, I'm not the one you posted this to, but the month I got pg, I had AF type cramping starting around 7 dpo. In retrospect, I should have known it meant something, since I usually never had cramps until the day before AF showed. But at the time, I thought it meant I was out. It lasted for a week or two after I got my BFP at 15 dpo, I still kept feeling like AF would be here any second.

Thank you, Angi! I've been having these cramps since 3 or 4 dpo, at least... and I don't ever have them this early! They vary between bad, semi-bad, and light.. but they're almost constant. Thanks for letting me know that at least someone else has had a BFP after having the cramps!
