I usually just monitor cm during my cycle, but I've read some people checking cervical position. Could someone (anyone???) explain what I should be feeling at certain times of the cycle????? thanks!!!!

When it's low, with the creamy, pasty CM then you're probably not at your most fertile.
My gyno doesn't really rely completely on cervical position, although I think checking that with CM is a really good combo. She tends to come from the school of thought that obvious signs are our greatest friend when trying to predict ovulation. She's not big on taking BBT everyday because she thinks it makes us nutty ;-) Kinda funny..and she's kinda right.
I think checking your cervix, paying attention to your CM, and possibly using an OPK is your best bet and may keep you from driving yourself up the wall.
Cheers! Happy baby making!
