Good morning!! Hope you had a good night.
here is my chart:

I'm pretty sure that I O'd on Friday, was having O pains in my right side, however I didn't get to temp on friday because we left for Seattle early. But on Saturday my temps were up.
Do you ever have issues temping?? This is my first month and really I kind of did it as trial and error, but I don't work at the same time every day..some mornings i have to be at work at 5AM and others at 9AM, so my charting times are inconsistent. Do you have any issues like that?? I'm afraid temping won't work for me because of this...what do you think??

As far as temping, ya, sometimes I find it difficult. What I tried to do is find the one time I seem to get up the most and stick with that. I read somewhere that you change your temp by .1 degree for every half hour you get up earlier or later. For example, if my normal time is 7 a.m. but I got up at 6:25 instead and my temp was 98.2 I would add .1 degree to my temp so I would chart it as 98.3. If I got up at 7:35 I would subtract .1 degree so it would be 98.1. That's what I read anyway and I even asked the ladies on the board and they said that's they do that too. So, I would try to find your average time you arrise and then go from there. Does that make sense? You might want to ask the board again just to make sure that's right.

Thanks for the advice on temping, that's good to know, I'll try that next cycle. On Thurs. my CM was kinda watery, not exactly stretchy but not thick either...and we BD'd every other day from monday -Thurs and then we ended up BD'ing everyday on fri, sat and sun, it wasn't really for good measure....just kinda well you know. =) Today I am REALLY tired, had to be a work at 5am, so I'm really dragging..LOL

Not trying to butt into the conversation here, but I've seen several of your post over the last few days and noticed we are on the exact same days in our cycle. How long is your cycle? Mine is usually around 26 days, however, last cycle I did "O" later than usual and had a 30 day cycle. Just wanted to speak and wish you GL and send you some +++++BFP+++ Vibes. Take care!!!!

How long have you been temping and trying to conceive?? I'm only on C2 so I'm still very new to all of this, I did purchase TCOYF over the weekend, but haven't had much opportunity to sit down and read it, hopefully I will today since I'm off at 2pm today.
Anyways so glad to here from you!!!

Lisa, we are on the same days, your chart looks great too. My cycle usually runs about 27-28 days, but I m/c last month so it maybe off a little (so the nurse said). So far though, everything is normal. I should start AF on 9/24 or 9/25.

This is my first month charting as well, I know that you're supposed to see a rise in temps due to the estrogen surge, but i'm not sure if it happens on the day of O, but I know there should be an increase around O time.
When I'm Oing, i can feel it, not all women can, but I have a slight cramping sensation on either my left or right side (depending on what ovary is releasing the eggie). Then usually the week after o and before AF my bb's are a bit tender. Everyone is different, but that is what I'm experiencing. I never really noticed any of this until TTC and then started to notice all sorts of interesting things about my body.
Have you gotten Taking Charge of Your Fertility?? I bought it last week, haven't gotten to really go through it yet, but it's very good, has answers to questions I didn't even know i had..LOL
The rise in temps occurs AFTER you O, because the corpus luteum starts making progesterone after it releases the egg. Progesterone makes the body temp rise (average 0.5 degrees F)
Many people do feel something around O, cramps or pinching twinges are normal. It is unclear whether these occur right when you O or before or after, so they don't necessarily pinpoint the time of O. A lot of people also get some breast soreness or tenderness around O.
Good Luck to everyone!
