Hi ladies -

I was thinking about starting to chart my temps. I never know if I have O'd or not since I seem to get a lot of positive OPK. (Several during this cycle - 1st time on Clomid) My problem is that we have a very naughty 7 months old dog who loves to jump up on the window all night long. This makes my DH jump up and yell at him, etc. So I wake up several times a night between dog and having to go to the bathroom.

How do I chart temps if my wake up time is so different all the time? How long should you be asleep for to consider it a accurate temp? Like if

One option is to set your alarm early (like 4:30am) and take your temperature at this time every day regardless. It only takes a minute to take your temperature then go bak to sleep. In the beginning it might wake you up, but after you've done this for a while you get used to it and barely have to wake up to take your temp.

I think the rule of thumb is that you need 3 hours of un-interrupted sleep prior to taking your temp.
