Charting while camping?

Hi there,

I posted this down in the charts section, but thought I'd ask here, too.

I started charting mid cycle this month, and I think I had my temp spike this morning, indicating O. Here's my question, I'm going camping today, so for the next two mornings, will my temps be useless because I'm sleeping in a cold tent? I need those two temps to confirm i O'd!

While I'm at it, I'll ask one more question. If this morning's temp spike does mean O, is today dpo1, or would that be tommorrow? I'm a dummy, lol!

Thanks for any help,

Jen

Hi! I am not an expert but I would say that you should keep temping while camping. The fact that the air outside is colder shouldn't affect your basal temperature too adversely. And, yes, if today's temp rise is your O then you would count today as 1dpo (reason being that you o'd sometime between your last temp and today's, which most likely means that you o'd yesterday.)

Good luck to you.
