I posted this on the Clomid/ovulation induction board too. I was hoping someone can help me.

Please help! I started Clomid for the first time this month. (CD 5-9 / 50 mg) On CD 13 I thought I got a positive OPK but my CM did not seem to change. Then yesterday (CD 18) I thought my CM was changing so I tested again and the lines are darker then they were a few days ago. Like I am getting another positive. I haven't tested today yet. I felt my cervix last night and it seemed low, open and softer too. Could my first positive on CD13 been wrong?

I use the clearblue easy digital monitor. The way it works is that the day or two before your ovulation indicator you get two bars instead of one. Then when you are due to ovulate in the next 2 days you get that symbol.

On clomid, I notice that I always have two bars until the day I get my ovulation symbol. So clomid definitely messes with the monitor. I just have to ignore the two bars and wait for the ovulation symbol.

Having more than one OPK pos. does not necessarily mean that one was wrong. All they do is measure the LH surge, which may happen a couple of times in a cycle before ovulation occurs for whatever reason. I would keep bding when you see fertile signs (EWCM, cervix HSO)regardless what the OPKs said.

HTH!
