Has anyone trying to conceive used or heard of Colmid? I have been trying naturally for over 6 months now, counting, ovulation calendars? everything.... I have even tried "not worrying about it" (yeah right). But I have an appt to talk to the Dr. and I heard about Clomid but I do not want to be the next Octamom?? I am nervous. Any thoughts?

I used Clomid to conceive my son. The doctor usually starts you off on the smallest dose (around 50) for a few days of your cycle. The days you take them depend on the doc. I have been taking 100 for days 5-9.
The first time I did this dose I conceived twins but lost one at around 12 weeks. I ended up giving birth to a healthy baby boy.
Some women report side affects like moodiness, CM changes etc, but I didn't notice anything like that.
Good luck!

Clomid is very helpful if you're not Oing or if you have an LP defect. If you're Oing and have normal cycles, it's not necessary.
Also, Clomid only increases the chance of twins to about 10%, even less for more than two. What you're thinking of is IVF, where they remove the eggs from a woman, fertilize them, then put them back again. Taking Clomid is completely different.
I know three people who have used it, and they
