Hey all,

I've been told that I'm a good candidate for Clomid - hoping to start taking it during my May cycle (the next cycle after this one, which just started). I'm wondering, for those of you on it, or who have taken it, what your experience has been. I hear it has a good success rate.

Thanks!

I'm on my 3rd Clomid cycle. The Dr started me at the typical 50mg for 5 days. The first cycle was rough, I had backaches and cramps from practically the moment I started

Thanks!

They did tell me that Clomid has a high success rate and that most women who conceive on Clomid do so around the 4th cycle. Of course I know that this is not guaranteed, but it was an interesting statistic.

For me, I just had my day 3 blood work done, DH is doing the SA next week, and she mentioned me getting the HCG...is that the tube test? I forgot the letters, something with an H! After that, she mentioned me going on Clomid.

The nurse said my blood work came back almost 100% normal - the only thing out of whack was my prolactin, which was high. I have abnormally tender breasts throughtout most of my cycle, I'm wondering if that's why.

Anyone else with prolactin issues?

Your stats are correct, most women who are going to conceive on Clomid will do so by their 4th cycle on it. That's why DH and I decided that, if we don't hit the

Thanks for that info....are you supposed to get the HSG at a specific time during your cycle?

And...I also asked this in another thread, when should tests be done to confirm that ovulation has taken place? Is this the day 21 blood work? I am wondering because I will be out of town on vacation during the whole middle of my cycle this time around. While I need this vacation (I totally need to relax), I don't want to miss the opportunity to do anything, and then have to wait another month.

Thanks again.

Thanks!! I'm going to call the doc's office tomorrow and see if I can schedule the HSG for sometime this week. I just finished AF, and I'm on day 7. Last cycle I didn't O (supposedly) until day 18 (according to FF) or 19 (according to myself lol), so this week is probably a good week to do it.
