Hi ladies,

this was my 1st round of clomid CD5-CD9 and I am now on CD 24. i think I O'ed on CD17 which makes me 7DPO today. On CD17 I had lots of cramps, It hurt so much even when I was moving and my stomach was soooo bloated! It was weird! I was worried as never had that much pain.

Anyway, on CD 21 I did the progesteron test which came back more than 20 (cant know the exact number, just more than that which can be anything!). Obviously, that meant that I did indeed ovulated, right?

Since the day before yesterday night my lower abdomen is so bloated, it looks like a balloon and like if I was 2 months pregnant! WTH? can it be clomid doing this to me???? I mean, my tummy is always flat! Now it is not, just the little bottom bit is sticking out!

Anybody had that???

Thank you in advance!!! and baby dust to you all!

I would call your doctor to see what he/she thinks.

I've taken Clomid one time 5 years ago and I had similar issues due to ovarian cysts. They were harmless but they were there and caused some bloating. Especially if you're small and any little thing can make you bloated. My OB told me then that Clomid can overstimulate your ovaries and cause harmless cysts. I would call your OB to see if they are concerned. If you mention lots of pain to your doctor, 9 times out of 10 they will have you come in. I hope you get it figured it soon and that it works for you!!!

Hi- I was on clomid when I conceived my DD #2, 3 years ago. I did 3 cycles before I conceived based on my experience my progesterone level was 20+ the cycle I conceived and around 10 the cycles I didn't. To me your levels sound great. When my levels were at 20 I got my BFP on 9 dpo. As far as you being bloated you might be Pregnant and your body is reacting to the hormones and relaxing your muscles since you have already had a child your body can start to look pregnant a lot sooner then with your first time. For me before I even had a BFP with my second child my underwear didn't fit. Now that I have your hopes up, did your Dr. talk to you about how clomid can cause cysts, I would think that these might also cause you to look bloated. I also had these and didn't realize it until my 1st ultrasound. If you are concerned call your Dr. and ask them.
