Clomid for men?

The urologist said that one of our options (besides ivf or icsi, which are just too expensive) is to put DH on clomid. Now I know that it's common for a woman to take it in order to ovulate, but I'd never heard of a man taking it to increase sperm count. One thing he did say is that it wouldn't help his motility and morphology percentages, but it could slightly increase our chances simply because there would be more healthy ones (though there would also be more unhealthy ones).
Clomid wouldn't be covered under our insurance, but DH is willing to try it if the vitamins don't help and if the price is right. So what do you think about it? His count is 12, his morphology is 0-1%, and his motility is 46%. And how much does a round of clomid cost?
Thanks in advance!

I have never heard of it for men. However, I am taking it now and it isn't expensive. It has a generic version that is only $9.00 at Wal-mart or Kroger pharmacy. My insurance doesn't cover either so I was worried at first but it's cheap. HTH
