Hello all im a 28 year old blk female living in the Ft. Polk, Louisiana area, i have had 2 m/c and since then i have been on clomid and parlodel, i go tommorrow to look at eggs and follicles something like some sonogram im having done that and then i guess the dr will tell us when to go have whoopie, im just looking for some one to talk to that might be going thru the same thing even if you are not in my area.

You have reached the right place!
I am on my first cycle of Clomid. In fact, there is a board dedicated just for ladies who are on Clomid. It is just a few down on the list underneath the TTC board.
I also went through a miscarriage back in January.
I had a vaginal ultra sound a few weeks ago, and saw my ovaries and uterus and my follicles as well. It was really interesting. Be sure to ask alot of questions, I did and the tech gave me a tour of my uterus! LOL =)
You will find that the ladies on this board are really helpful and have alot of good information.
Come join us on the Clomid board. It moves alot slower than this one and you will see alot of the same people on both boards.
Good luck to you!
Stephanie
I'm 24 and I've just been rx'd my first round of clomid. I hope things work out well for you, I'm going to venture down and see what the clomid board has to offer - I'm learning right now!
GL and hope to see BFP results soon - sunny :)

ANYWAY, they will take pictures and measure your ovaries and uterus. I just said "whats that?" everytime they stopped the camera and froze the screen.
I had a really good tech that explained everything. For example: She would say "this is your left ovary, and I would say "what are those black dots" and she explained they were my follicles and that they produce and egg every month. They were different in size and she even showed me a big one that may be the one that will "pop" out this month.
She also found some fibroids in my uterus. (I never had heard of them before - they are tumor type polyps that grow in your uterus.) I learned that about 50% of women have them and they are nothing to be concerned about as long as they dont grow really big, or as long as they are not blocking your tubes or anything. Mine are in the thick muscle part of my uterus.
Ask the tech what pcos ovaries look like. (Just thinking of things you can say that would get the tech to start talking.)
They arent really supposed to "diagnose" or anything, but they really know ALOT about what they are looking at.
I am anxious to hear your report after getting done with your ultra sound.
It took the lab about 5 days to get the results in to my dr, too.
Good luck!!!
Stephanie

Don't worry about your upcoming ultrasound... they're actually pretty cool! You'll get to see all "the goods" inside, and it's not all that bad. (I would take a u/s before my annual pap smear anyday!)
Good luck to you!

it was good to hear from you helped me be a little more prepared for this sonogram, but i dont think i will have to wait for results my dr is going to be the one that performs the sonogram so i should know something right away, so ill be letting you know something tommorrow, if you dont hear from me just write me again cause i really dont know how this message thing works, if the messages stay on every day the same or what , but when i get back you will be among the first, and hey after they give you the results what do you do then do they tell you when to have sex or i dont know..
