Conceiving after the implant

Hey I had my implant taken out end of March and was told by doctor and nurse that it would take anything from 3 to 6 months for my body to get back to normal, I'm still trying and now 7months have passed, should I be worried? I'm starting to get a gut feeling that something is wrong so I have already been to doctors to discuss it, doctor won't do anything until after 12months but has offered blood test to check hormones and fertility test for hubby, is there anyone on here that have conceived after the implant? If so would really appreciate your stories, may help put my mind at rest.

is this your first child? Very few women get pregnant right away. It takes a long time for no known reason sometimes.

Sorry, I've never had an implant myself. I did have a friend get pregnant 2 months after having an IUD removed. Everyone was really surprised. From what I've heard, that's a pretty rare thing to get pregnant right away.

Hi yes this will be my first child. All my girlie friends have got pregnant in the past within one or two months of coming off the pill, i decided not to have to pill as it wasn't suited to me and kept forgetting to take it on time which was quite risky really! So anyway find it frustrating as I just want something to happen now as seeing how easy my friends found it makes me feel a bit low really however one of my friends who has been trying for a good few years has just found out she can only have children with IVF with a 15% chance as her tubes are basically blocked, she is gutted, I just hope something like that doesn't happen to me!! Hopefully it is just what you say, that its my body just getting back to normal, but can't help feeling like there's something more because it just seems to be taking forever, I think I'm paranoid, I suffered a lot from urine infections when I was a child however pretty much grew out of them as an adult and only ever get them very rarely now but doctor says thats nothing to do with them and won't affect fertility. My blood test is on the cycle day 21 which is Tuesday, they said they would check my hormone levels, etc.. So it will be interesting to see what comes back from that.. Hubbys test, he not got any closer, he was suppose to go to the doctors last week and they messed him around with the forms causing him to miss his appointment so he will have to make another appointment but he's having trouble getting in at a suitable time, to fit in with his work, due to it being half term this week

I had a implant taken out in may and went on the pill afterward and came off pill this month to start ttc. Not made it through a full cycle post pill yet but will keep you updated as to weather implant affected fertility. (Already have one child so I know hubby and I are capable pre implant)
