Conception study & Clearplan monitor

I've been very lucky to have been accepted onto a medical study giving me 6 months use of a Clearplan monitor. I have to do urine tests from day 6 to day 25 of my cycle and the monitor reads them and tells me whether I'm ovulating.
Does anyone know how these monitors work/what they are actually measuring?
I'm very excited about this and would love to hear from anyone who's also used a Clearplan monitor!

The first month I bought and used the clearplan monitor I got pg. It measures Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in your urine. Right before you ovulate, the LH surges. this occurs approx. 6-48 hours before ovulation helping you to time BDing. The monitor takes the guess work out of reading a stick and deciding if the line is dark enough or not.
Hope this helps!!!!
