Conflicting info: OPKs and FF

This is the second month that FF has given me CH's the first day of a + OPK. The first cycle I tested once, but kept temping. By the time I thought maybe I should test again, it was already a couple of days later and negative, but I received CH's for the day of the positive. This cycle, I got 3 days of + OPKs, and got CH's for day of the first positive!

My question is, is this normal? I thought that the + OPK was supposed to predict O for the next 24-48 hours. Also, both cycles, I got the + later in the evening after a negative earlier in the afternoon. Should I assume I O'ed the next day?

Thanks, because I'm confused here.

Hello,
I had asked my obgyn about the +OPK and ovulation. She said that you can ovulate any where from 12 - 48 hours after a +OPK. I did notice that your temps. dipped and then went up. The dip could be you ovulating. I hope that this helps.

Are you referring to the dip that FF says is 3 DPO?? I figured that was my "real" O date. I'm really confused...

Yes, I also believe that you O'd on CD22. That corresponds with your CM, OPKs, and temperatures.

Thanks...I figured the same thing, but then I was like....how could FF be wrong? LOL.

It's too bad, because I had some crazy cramping yesterday and a little spotting, which I **hoped** could possibly be implantation. If I really O'd on CD 22, it would be too early for implantation.

Oh well...

FF isn't always right. (Although I'm surprised by this one because it seems so obvious.) That's why there is override.

Great BDing though! I hope you caught the egg!

I agree with everyone else... not sure how FF messed that one up.
