Hey Everyone

this is cycle 19 of ttc 1 so i decided its about time to get some tests done! My periods arepretty regular but i canspot for upto 1 week before af starts (a min of 3-4 days pre af) and I have skin break outs which doc just gave me anti-biotics for.

Phoned for my blood test results today , thyroid, tetosterone, 21 day progesterone, rubella, kidney function, liver function, haemoglobin all normal!!!! Would not give me any figures, confused about progesterone as i started bleeding 2 days after the test then starting spotting then bleeding then spotting now full blown reaaly bad AF so she says she has no idea whats wrong but i am ovulating so she doent know wahts happening cause my hormone levels are normal. Now I am stumped no idea whats going on got anti biotics for my skin as its really bad at minute so now maybe I dont have PCOS as she thought back to square one ;(

the only advice doc has gave me is bd EOD even when i have AF(ughhh) so now not sure what to think

Any ideas

Tia

Hmm, yes my advice would be to go see a fertility specialist! It sounds like this came from your OB? An RE will take a deeper look to see if there are other problems and your DH should get tested as well.

Good luck!

I agree with Kelly. I would get in to see an RE. I had an issue with my uterus and my OB kept blaming my losses on my uterus shape, even though my losses did not follow the typical pattern for that. I finally got into an RE who did a multitude of tests to find out that my issues primarily

Oh that's right, in the UK it is different. You should ask for a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist.

They will monitor your cycle, make sure you are ovulating, check your DH's sperm in a sperm analysis. If they don't find any problems there they may look for anatomical issues with an hsg test. Overall it will just give you a sense that you have some help in working towards your goal.

Good luck, I hope you can get your referral, get some answers, and most importantly get your BFP!
