Confused... cd 31, positive opk yesterday, what is wrong with me?

Hi,

So I'm TTC #2 (daughter is 2.5 y.o). With #1 it took 3 days of BD, this time it's so frustrating. I am under a lot of stress, which might be throwing my cycles off, but either way: I went off the pill in April, had 2 regular 31 day cycles since then (July and August), so I tried BBC in September. For some reason my September cycle was 42 days, and since then, I started monitoring. I had EWCM CD 14-20 and BD every other day then. Last night, CD30, I had EWCM and positive OPK (I was really shocked, I've been POAS for 2 months and NEVER had a positive OPK, ever!). I heard that OPK can detect hCG, so I did a EPT, but BFN.No pregnancy symptoms at all (lower back pain, but that could be anything). This morning sticky creamy white CM.

What is this? Why does my body act crazy? Can I be O now? Please help...

Oh, I tried temp-ing, but I was all over the place and it wasn't helpful, just stressed me out more.

That totally unfair that our cycles are so off! Unfortunately no EWCM today, more like a creamy, lotiony texture. And I am all congested and coughing my lungs out - last thing on my mind is BDing. Ugh. I guess this is not my month.

Baby dust to you!

I'm sorry you're feeling frustrated. I am frustrated about my cycles too! I'm on CD 23 today and I thought for sure my opk was going to be positive by now, but nope...and it was looking darker and darker and yesterday it was way light again so who the heck knows if i already ovulated. If you got a positive last night, even though it's cd30 its entirely possible you're ovulating now, so try and bd...especially if you had a 42 day cycle last month...ovulating on CD31 still makes sense. So yeah, my guess is you might ovulate today, going by the opk and more ewcm now.
