This is not an exhaustive list of sites, but here are a couple that talk about cognitive behavioral treatments for IBS. The first one is oriented toward professionals--so, hopefully the jargon doesn't make you cringe (psychologists are horrible about jargon. Drives me crazy). But it gives some detail about the kind of things that can help. Also, hopefully the mention of psychological disorders doesn't put you off--more jargon for the most part.
The second site is more for the lay person, so less detailed but less jargony. Thought you might get use out of both of them.

I really don't have any expertise at all in dealing with IBS. So, I'm giving you this info as a friend and definitely not as a professional. But I know there is good help out there.
I hope you get some relief soon, Connie! You deserve to feel much much better.
Take care!
Hugs,
E

Sending you some "feel better" vibes. I have suffered with IBS in the past and while I haven't had any trouble with it recently, it was HORRIBLE when it was at its worst. I feel for you. Hope you're feeling better soon.
