Could a UTI cause me to be late?

After 5 years my boyfriend and I decided on July 2nd to start ttc.

It could be possible that it affected your cycle. Have you tested again? If it's still negative you might want to give your doctor a call to see what they say.

A UTI could delay ovulation which would in turn delay your period. You may not ovulate until the UTI is completely cleared up with antibiotics. So this may be a very long cycle for you.
