Cramping? Is this bad? What does it mean?

Yesterday and today I've had cramping...mostly on the left side. Well it's been more significant on the left side. This morning it hurt a lot, not like bend you over kind of pain but it was enough to notice. I still have the cramping/pain but it's mild. What's weird though is it's not my entire abdomen but on either side like .... \ / ....if you get my meaning. Is this bad?
I'm hoping my period doesn't arrive, it's supposed to arrive July 3 ish...
These aren't period cramps, definitely had those before. Nothing like that.

I had cramps like that 8-9DPO and I am due for AF on July 1st.
I am trying to keep my head on straight too. LOL Although it's really hard. :P Today is my 9th DPO...or so I think. According to fertility friend.com's calendar.
yea that would be so great to not see her for the next 10 months or so.

So...a bit TMI but wiped after going to bathroom earlier and I'm not totally certain but I think there was blood...can't be sure though because when I wiped a second time there was nothing.
Can we say...CONFUSED even more now? lol
Well, I have been on the lookout for any spotting actually too since THAT also is a sign of implantation according to the sites that came up during my google search for "cramping 8DPO" I hate giving any false hope to anyone even myself at this point but that IS what I read so I am hopeful for you!! And the one woman I know who had implantation bleeding said in her three pregnancies she ONLY had it with the twins and it was just one spot - almost not noticable, just a bit of pink on the toilet paper.
Well I can't even be sure...and LOL I don't want to go into too much detail. I just saw the paper and it looked red after I'd throw it away...How do you explain something without being too TMI?! lmao
I am hopeful but not putting all my stock into it until I know I am/am not pregnant. I don't remember spotting with my first two kids. Of course I didn't even know I was pregnant with my first until I was about a month or two in...That was a long time ago, too long to remember lol...
ah well I hold up hope for us both anyways :D
