Cycle so irregular

My cycle is so irregular, I can't ever prdict when AF will come. I have 2 children and ttc #3 for 4 years now. Anyone have such irregular cycles or advice?

I can relate but have only been off bc six months, not four years. I am sorry it has been such a long process for you. Right now I'm spotting but it's not a reg. af, just weird mid-cycle bleeding, but I'm on cd 35, who knows when I will ovulate next.
My questions for you, you have 2 kids, were you able to conceive them on your own w/ irregular cycles? Did your doctor prescribe clomid? Or are the irregular cycles just a recent problem? I don't know if my cycles will eventually even out or not, so I'm curious to hear about women who get pregnant with irregular cycles.
I do not have irreg cycles, but i wanted to ask - do you temp? thaen at least you could know when to expect AF, as AF is usually the smae number of days after you ovulate. you might not be able to predict when yoU O, but once you pinpoint ovulation, you can predict AF.
even if you dont temp, if you monitor CM, that would help track ovulation too.

I can relate because my cycles were irregular before I went on the pill, and they were even more irregular after I got off the pill in 2005 (follow the link in my ticker to see my stats). The only way to know when AF was coming that year was by charting my temperatures every day so that I knew when I finally ovulated and then I counted 8-10 days and was ready with a pad in place. It gave me peace of mind to know that I was ovulating every cycle, even though I was not TTC at the time.
Now that I am TTC, my cycles have amazingly gotten more regular and I am focusing on using cervical fluid as my main fertility predictor, since the temperature shift occurs after ovulation and is therefore not helpful in timing intercourse to conceive.
I definitely recommend charting your fertility if you are not doing it already, and if you are, I can help interpret your chart if you need help/advice with that. Good luck!
