Hi Ladies

Hey Pamela, my DH is also taking Propecia. It is working for him as well. Anyway, I asked my OB/GYN about this and he said he does not see a problem with dh being on it. I did get pregnant in May but had an early m/c. So I guess it is not a problem for getting pregnant. It does say however, not to touch broken propecia pill when you are pregnant. It could harm a male fetus. So just make sure you dont touch them after you are pregnant. I hope this helps some..... Good Luck

My husband also takes this medication. I asked a girlfriend who is Dr. and she believes it is ok to take when trying to conceive although she thought the pill form can effect the stamina of sperm and/or the amount ejaculated. Do not quote me because this was awhile ago. Neverheless, I made him put all his extra medications away until I do get pregnant. LOL

Hi Pamela,

My husband has been on Propecia for a couple of years (and has managed to ward off the bald spot.) I, too, was somewhat concerned about it, until we were surprised by an unplanned pregnancy 5 weeks before our wedding in 2001! We now have a wonderful 14 month old son, and are looking to ttc #2 starting in September.

Good luck,

Lisa

Thank you to everyone. I am happy to find out some of you have children and everything is okay. I am not sure why we have not had any luck to this point. This is 8 months and we will just keep trying. And think Baby thoughts. Thanks for the info it is nice to know I am not alone.
